You can say it a hundred different ways, but this pretty much sums it up—in a way that inspires me.

Thanks. I will.

Couldn't agree more, Asacker (I nearly wrote Ass Kicker, which wouldn't have been far off the mark!). It's like the question, "What if everything you ever wanted wasn't enough?" You answered this question. Maybe everything you ever wanted was stuff you never really wanted to begin with, driven by your parents, your employer, your friends... social media.

Exactly, Michael! And ass kicker is fine. You wouldn’t believe how my name has been “semantically distorted” over the years. 🤣

Beautifully put and brilliant. This time of year we get many fresh start newsletters but this one is many cuts above the usual. In me it inspires a great pause so that I can go truly deep and reveal what the real me truly wants. Bravo! This is a concept to rally around.

I think this is accurate and profound. I just ordered your book "Unwinding Want" and I'm hopeful that I will be inspired to finish something I asked you about years ago. My first book. I've had a great career and am essentially semi-retired now, but the book just haunts me as unfinished business. You told me once to start writing and I did, but have only put a few chapters down. As I prepare ro move to Germany for 2 years with my military wife, I'm hoping to be inspired to finish this. Thanks for always getting us to think deeper about what's real and what isn't.

Thank you, David. And after you've finished reading it, let's set up a call to discuss the concepts, as well as your "wants" regarding your book. Enjoy Germany!
